**Last updated: April 28, 2026**
**Effective Date: April 2, 2026**
We at BitClean are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our software (the “Software”) and services (the “Service”). Please read this policy carefully. By using our Software and Service, you agree to the practices described herein. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Software.
This policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications that may be accessible through our Service.

## 1. Information & data We Collect Automatically
When you access or use our Service, we may automatically collect certain technical information from your browser or device, including but not limited to:
- Operating system type, name, and version
- IP address
- Unique device identifier (UUID)
- Crash reports and usage data
This information is collected using standard APIs provided by iOS and is used solely to improve the stability, performance, and security of our Software.
---
## 2. Information & data You Submit to Us
We only collect personal information when you voluntarily provide it to us for specific purposes. Below are the types of information you may choose to share:
### (a) Camera, Photos, and Facial Feature Data
To enable certain features of the Software, you may grant us permission to access your device’s camera or photo library. For example, this may occur when you use image-based cleanup or organization functions. **We do not store any facial feature data or images on our servers.** All image processing occurs locally on your device, and the image data is deleted immediately after processing is complete. We do not share, retain, or use your facial data for any other purpose.
### (b) Photo Library Read & Write Permissions
We may request permission to read from and write to your photo library to help you manage your photos – for instance, to detect and remove duplicate photos or organize your albums. These actions are performed only at your direction and with your explicit consent. You can control or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
### (c) Contacts Permission
With your explicit permission, we may access your device’s contacts to help you identify and merge duplicate contacts, or to remove incomplete or redundant entries. This processing happens locally on your device. Your contact data is not uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.
### (d) App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Permission
To provide you with personalized services and relevant recommendations, we may request your permission to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. This permission is governed by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You are free to grant or deny this permission. If you deny tracking, your experience will not be affected in any essential way – you will simply receive less personalized content and advertisements.
### (e) Support-Related Information
When you contact us for support via email (artlifebest@outlook.com) or through our in-app support section, we may collect your email address, name, and any other information you voluntarily provide. Such information is used solely to respond to your inquiries and improve our support services.
---
## 3. AI Services and Data Usage
Our application may include features powered by artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how your data is handled.
All data processed by our AI features remains on your device. We do not upload, store, or process your personal data, content, or any user-generated information on external servers.
We do not use any third-party AI service providers. We do not share, transmit, or disclose your data to any third parties for AI processing purposes.
## 4. Children’s Policy
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to us. Our Software and Service are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information without their consent, they should contact us immediately at artlifebest@outlook.com. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without verified parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
**We strongly encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s use of our Software and to review any permissions granted.**

## 5. How We Store and Retain Your Data
- **No facial data storage**: As stated above, we never store your facial feature data. Images are processed locally and deleted immediately after processing.
- **No server storage of user content**: The reports and results generated by the Software (e.g., duplicate photo lists, contact suggestions) are stored only on your local device. We do not save or collect such information on our servers.
- **Support communications**: Email correspondence and support tickets may be retained for a reasonable period to improve our service and comply with legal obligations.
---
## 6. Sharing of Information & data
We limit the sharing of your personal data to what is necessary for providing and improving our services, complying with legal obligations, and protecting our rights. Depending on how you use the app, your data may be shared with the following categories of recipients:
· Platform Providers: We may interact with platform operators such as Apple and Google to enable app distribution, payments, and essential system-level functionalities.
· Service and Infrastructure Partners: We work with trusted third-party vendors (such as analytics, subscription management, and cloud service providers, including but not limited to RevenueCat, Google, Amplitude, and Firebase) to support app functionality, performance monitoring, and service delivery.
· Marketing and Attribution Partners: We may share limited data with advertising and attribution partners (such as AppsFlyer, Meta, and TikTok) to measure campaign effectiveness, understand user acquisition, and optimize marketing performance.
· Legal and Regulatory Authorities: We may disclose personal data to competent authorities, regulators, or law enforcement agencies where required to comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or governmental requests.
· Security and Fraud Prevention Providers: We may engage specialized third-party services to help identify and assess potential security incidents or publicly known data breaches.
---
## 7. Your Choices and Controls
You can control most data collection and permissions directly from your device settings:
- **Camera, Photo Library, Contacts, and ATT permissions**: You may grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time via your iOS settings. Revoking a permission may limit certain features of the Software.
- **Tracking**: You can change your ATT preference at any time under Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
- **Deleting local data**: You can manually delete any locally stored results (e.g., duplicate lists, contact suggestions) by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the Software.
---
## 8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
---
## 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our privacy practices.
Your continued use of the Software after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
